As I sit here blogging away. I cant help but feel very surprised at how fast these years have gone. In a few months I will be turning the big 3-0 and I am terrified. Where have the years gone? I remember the times when I didnt have a care in the world. When everything was so easy. When all I had to do in my day was go to school and come home, do homework and make sure my room was clean. Now my days are spent making sure that my kids do that with their day. I think back to the days when I would ask myself, "Am I grown up yet?" "Am I an adult?" Well I'm going to be 30 soon and I still ask myself that same question.
I guess I am rambling, but I would rather blog about it then talk someones ear off about this.
Maybe one of these days soon enough it will come to me.......

Our 44th President of The United States: Barack Obama.
President Barack Obama was sworn into presidency today and became the 44th president of The United States. His speech gave me the chills as I sat watching at work. I hope my children remember this day when they are my age. I am proud to call myself an American.

Score!!!
I just scored these two tops from Old navy at $4.99 each! :)

I had previously purchased the same style in a aqua color and I liked the style so much that I went back and I got a promo code for 50% off and voila. I love coming up on bargains! Especially with the way our economy is right now. What a great way to start the weekend :)

SF Zoo-Weekend Trip
With work and his hectic hours Christian doesnt get many weekends off with us. It's been a little tough on us not having him around on weekends to spend time with us, so when he had the entire weekend off to spend with us we were thrilled and we spent the weekend with each other and our kids having fun. We decided to make the best out of family weekend and took a trip to The San Francisco Zoo. It was also a reason for hubby to use his Nikon SLR camera that was a gift from our friends Scott and Ben. (Thanks for that btw guys. We love ya!)

We had a great weekend with C and the kids and we are grateful to have days like this to spend as a family :)
We started our morning bright and early and we were off for a day at the zoo.

When we got to sf it was bright and sunny and it was beautiful weather for it being January!

This is my favorite picture of lil C. Hubby took it while he was looking at something and it came out quite nicely :)

After the beach we decided to drive along the coast and hubs took advantage of taking pics of the beach and the beautiful weather.

Humility at its finest!
Last night I went to dinner at Outback Steakhouse with C and the kidos and we had a great experience with someone famous. We had the pleasure of meeting Jorge Hernandes of Los Tigres Del Norte and can I say this man is very humble! We were seated right next to him and we didnt even notice him as we were seated at our table. It was not until the cooks came out from the back and introduced themselves to him that we noticed it was "him" I was absolutley star struck! C got up and thanked him for playing in Japan when he was station there with the Marine Corps. He totally remembered playing there too! He even came to our table and greeted us, shook our hands and said hello the kids. It was very cool indeed. As we were leaving he got up from his table and gave us all a hug and said it was nice meeting us. He gave my son and C an autograph too :) He called los "Carlitos" it was so cool! It totally made our night and it was an honor meeting him. Its nice to see that despite his great success he still remains humble. I see now why the hubby likes them so much :)
