Disneyland Pt. 1

I have not posted in our blog in such a long long time. So many changes have happened in our lives. This is my attempt at trying to catch up a bit.

I had never been to Disneyland so when my company announced that our yearly department trip would be to Disneyland I was beyond thrilled. I waited all summer and not to mention my entire life to visit disneyland. It was such a blast!

We departed for our trip early in the morning. At 5:00 a.m!!!! I could barely keep my eyes opened!
When we finally reached our destination I couldn't wait to get out and get in to the parks. We were there for two days and were both at Disneyland and California Adventures.

Can you tell I was excited? :P

Since it was October all of Disneyland was decorated for Halloween. They had a huge pumpkin and fall colors. It was really amazing. I had waited 29 years to visit this place and suddenly here I was...The Happiest Place on EARTH!!! I was in awe :)

I was told by a few acquaintances that I had to get my "First Time" visitor button and it was the first thing I did.

I rode Spacemoutain, The Indiana Jones Ride, and went on The Haunted Mansion ride. Since it was a Halloween theme The Haunted Mansion was decorated all in The Night before Christmas. At one point while inside the ride, I even smelled gingerbread. It was pretty freaking cool if you ask me :)

I took a picture in front of the castle and The Matahorn ride. My co worker and I also took some time to ride the teacups. Something I had wanted to do for a very very long time.

We went on many many other rides and lets just say that when we got back to our hotel room for the night I was exhausted! I had a blast though :)

The next morning we got up bright and early for breakfast and then headed over to California Adventures which is directly across from Disneyland.

I visited the Golden Gate bridge and found some really cool candy corn ;)

The views were beautiful and I even touched Mickey's ear :P

After California Adventures we had dinner at at the Yamabuki restaurant at the Paradise Pier Hotel. We ate in the Tatami Room which looks like you dine while seated on the floor but there is actually a space under the table where your feet dangle. It gave it a very traditional atmosphere and it helps that the food and drinks were delicious :)

Overall it was an awesome trip and I cannot wait to go back in April with my hubby and our kidos. :)
